I Can See!!

I got contacts today and walking out of the doctors office today was the most amazing experience I've had in forever. I could pick out details from things that I had just seen as blobs. Everyday objects looked sharp and beautiful even in the rain. I can't believe how much I've been missing. Also I think that the blurriness was depressing my spirits. Just the knowledge that my blurry vision is due to my eyes and not exhaustion has made such a difference to me. I feel so light and happy.
